Kakde Research is an independent consulting and research practice based in India. This page describes what the practice does with the information you provide.
What is collected
The data collected through this site is limited to what you choose to submit:
- Enquiry form: your name, work email, organisation, the service you are asking about and what you are trying to understand, your timeframe, your role and your country: every field on the form is required, so the practice can judge the question before replying. The form also records the page it was sent from and the referring address, so the practice knows how the enquiry arrived.
- Research requests: your work email, optionally your name and organisation, and the report you asked for.
- Mailing list: your email address.
- Email: whatever you include when you write to the published address.
The site sets no advertising or profiling cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts. Fonts, styles, scripts and images are served from this domain, so loading a page sends no request to an advertising or analytics company. The pages themselves are delivered by the site’s hosting provider (Vercel), which processes your IP address and request details to serve them and keeps short-lived server logs for that purpose.
Why it is used
Enquiry details are used to reply to you, to scope the work and to run the engagement if one follows. Mailing-list addresses are used only to send the monthly research note. Nothing submitted is sold, rented or shared for marketing, and no automated decisions are made about you.
Research requests: the work email you give is used to deliver the report you asked for and to keep a record of the request. It is not added to any mailing list unless you separately subscribe.
Enquiries and research requests are transmitted by the site’s hosting provider (Vercel), stored in a database service (Supabase) and delivered by a transactional email service (Resend), each acting on the practice’s instructions. No advertising or analytics scripts run on the site.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Research-request records are kept on the same basis as enquiries. Records relating to an engagement are kept for as long as the practice needs them for its own business and tax records. Mailing-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; an unsubscribed address is then kept only as a suppression record, so that it is not added again by mistake.
Your control over it
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Every mailing-list message includes an unsubscribe link, and replying to any note also works. Requests go to inquiries@kakderesearch.com and are actioned within thirty days.
